Evaluation Questions

How does your finished product compare to your design?
My finished product is almost identical to what I designed it to be, as I was able to use the two images I wanted,  (Tennis Woman, and an image of Roger Federer). The image of Roger Federer was imperative as my product is named after him.

How has technology helped you turn your design into a real product?
Using the Apple Mac Computers has helped a lot, as using photoshop on the Mac is a lot easier to use and easy to navigate around than a standard computer. Another way that technology helped me was that I was able to take a picture of the tennis courts with my iPod and upload it to the Mac. Also, using the scanner helped as it enabled me to draw my block designs on paper and then scan them onto a memory stick to then be able to use them.

Do you feel that your product is suitable for your target audience?
I feel that my product is suitable for my target audience as I have designed it for someone who is looking to buy a tennis racket. Another reason it is suitable is that I used my audience feedback to put the final touches to my advert (font, title).

Describe two challenges you have overcome?
The first challenge that I have overcome is using a scanner, as I was unaware of how to use one before this task, but once I had been shown how to scan a document and save it on a memory stick via the scanner then I was able to use it to the best of my ability.
The second challenge that I have overcome was using Photoshop to a high enough standard to be able to produce a good quality advert that looks like it has been done professionally.

Describe the technical skills you have gained?
Technically I think I can produce a successful piece on Photoshop now without much help at all as I have had lots of practice, as I used it when I created my Gaming Magazine, and also when I created my TV Listings magazine cover.
